Demonstration of Resusci Annie CPR
As part of the programme of installing lifesaving defibrillators across Richmondshire, NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group (HRW CCG) and Richmondshire District Council’s Community Opportunities Fund have jointly funded an interactive and lifelike Resusci Annie doll. The high-tech mannequin gives the communities involved in the project, the opportunity to practice life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). A demonstration of Resusci Annie is taking place on Saturday 11 April from 10am-12pm in West Burton Village Hall. Familiarisation is important because it is essential to deliver CPR between giving shocks with a defibrillator. Jane Ritchie MBE, Lay Representative for Richmondshire at Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG and Hon. Secretary with Upper Dales Health Watch, is hosting the introduction session. She is also co-ordinating the loan diary for the Resusci Annie. It can be borrowed from the Upper Dales Health Watch (the patient group for the Central Dales GP Practice).
